Fish Pepper Fry

INGREDIENTS


  1. Fish - 250gms ( I used Salmon. You can also use any boneless fish)
  2. Onion - 1 Medium
  3. Green Chilli - 1
  4. Garlic - 2 cloves
  5. Ginger - 2 Small piece
  6. Chilli Powder - 1 Tsp
  7. Pepper and Jeera Powder - 3/4 Tsp
  8. Lime Juice - 1 Tsp
  9. Coconut oil - 1 Tsp (Optional )
  10. Curry leaves,
  11. Oil - 2 Tbsp
  12. Salt to taste

  • We need to make marination for fish first. Take a mixer jar. Add roughly chopped onions, garlic,ginger and green chilly. 
  • Add required water and make paste. 
  • Clean the fish and add the marination to fish.
  • Let it sit for atleast 1 hour.
  • Now take a pan add oil.
  • When the oil is hot, add fennel powder.
  • Add the marinated fish and slowly cook. 
  • When the fish is cooked on one side turn it to the other side. (It will take 2 minutes to cook on each side)
  • After cooking it on both the side bring your flame to medium high and cook.
  • Saute it in between to avoid burning,
  • When you can see all the masala is getting stick to the fish, add the pepper jeera powder and toss it.
  • Add Lemon juice and give it a stir.
  • Finally add the coconut oil and curry leaves.
  • Fish pepper Fry is ready to serve.
