INGREDIENTS
- Fish - 250gms ( I used Salmon. You can also use any boneless fish)
- Onion - 1 Medium
- Green Chilli - 1
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Ginger - 2 Small piece
- Chilli Powder - 1 Tsp
- Pepper and Jeera Powder - 3/4 Tsp
- Lime Juice - 1 Tsp
- Coconut oil - 1 Tsp (Optional )
- Curry leaves,
- Oil - 2 Tbsp
- Salt to taste
- We need to make marination for fish first. Take a mixer jar. Add roughly chopped onions, garlic,ginger and green chilly.
- Add required water and make paste.
- Clean the fish and add the marination to fish.
- Let it sit for atleast 1 hour.
- Now take a pan add oil.
- When the oil is hot, add fennel powder.
- Add the marinated fish and slowly cook.
- When the fish is cooked on one side turn it to the other side. (It will take 2 minutes to cook on each side)
- After cooking it on both the side bring your flame to medium high and cook.
- Saute it in between to avoid burning,
- When you can see all the masala is getting stick to the fish, add the pepper jeera powder and toss it.
- Add Lemon juice and give it a stir.
- Finally add the coconut oil and curry leaves.
- Fish pepper Fry is ready to serve.
