INGREDIENTS
- Garlic – 4 cloves fine chopped
- Onion – 1 large fine chopped
- Mixed vegetables – 1cup (carrot,beans,capsicum)
- Fried Chicken – 250 gm
- Rice – 3 cups (cooked)
- Soya sauce – 1 Tsp
- Tomato sauce – 2 Tsp
- Chilli garlic paste – 2 Tsp
- Chinese salt – 1 Tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil
CHILLI GARLIC PASTE
- Red chillies – 6
- Garlic – 4 big
- Soak red chillies in hot water for an hour.
- Now add soaked red chillies and garlic to a blender and make a fine paste.
- You can also use store bought chilli garlic paste.
FRIED CHICKEN
- I always love adding fried chicken to my fried rice . It gives a nice spicy Indian flavour. Its totally optional for you to add fried chicken. You can add boiled shredded chicken also.
- Chicken cut into strips – 250 gm
- Yogurt – 1 Tsp
- Chilli powder – 1 Tsp
- Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 Tsp
- Garam masala – less than 1/2 Tsp
- Salt to taste
- Marinate the chicken with yogurt, chilli powder, ginger garlic paste and salt.
- Take a pan add required oil and fry the chicken.
- You can also use store bought chicken 65 masala to marinate chicken and deep fry it .
FRIED RICE
- Take a pan add some oil. When the oil is hot add garlic.
- Saute it for a minute or two. Add chopped onions and a pinch of salt.
- Add mixed vegetables to onions. Chop the vegetables finely so we can cook it without adding water. Even if you want to cook your vegetables steam cook it separately and add.
- Add soya sauce, tomato sauce and chilli garlic paste.
- Add fried chicken and chinese salt.
- Add required salt and toss it well. Soya sauce contains salt also we added some salt to chicken. Make sure you add the right amount of salt.
- Now add the rice and mix it all well. Don’t use sticky rice. Add a spoon of oil to rice while cooking to get non sticky rice.
- Finally add chopped spring onions and serve hot.
