Ingredients
- Minced Mutton – 1/4 Kg
- Roasted Bengal Gram – 1 Cup
- Coconut – 1 Cup
- Fennel seeds- 1 Tsp
- Cinnamon – 1 Piece
- Ginger – 1 Piece
- Garlic – 10 Cloves
- Turmeric – 1Tbsp
- Coriander leaves & Curry Leaves – As Required
- Onion – 1 Medium
- Red chillies – 6 number
- Poppy seeds – 1 Tsp
- Ginger garlice paste _1/2 Tsp
- Egg – 1
- Lime – 1/2 spoon
- Oil for deep fry
- Dry roast the roasted bengal gram and make a fine powder.
- Wash the minced mutton and drain it without any water.
- Add few drop of oil to the pan. Once the oil is hot add ginger garlic paste, half spoon turmeric , minced mutton and mix well. Close the pan and keep the flame in low until the mutton is cooked well. Do not add water, meat by itself will leave some water.
- Drain the excess water or cook until water is evaporated.Make sure there is no water else kheema balls will crack.
- Now add few drops of oil and roast the red chillies. After roasting remove it to a seperate plate.
- To the same pan add Coconut, Turmeric powder,Fennel seeds,Cinnamon,Ginger,Garlic,Poppy seeds ,Coriander ,Curry leaves,Finely chopped onions, Salt . Dry roast all the above mentioned ingredients without any water.
Now mix the cooked minced mutton with this dry roasted ingredients and blend it using a blender.
Now add egg , lime and roasted bengal gram powder to this.
- Make small balls applying some oil to hand.
- Now heat oil in a pan for deep frying when the oil is hot add the balls and fry until the color is changed.
