INGREDIENTS
- Onion – 1 Big
- Tomatoes – 2 Medium
- Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 Tsp
- Garlic – 4 big pods
- Peas – 1/2 cup
- Basmathi Rice – 1 Cup
- Cinnamon – 1piece
- Cloves – 2
- Cardamom – 1
- Green chilli – 1
- Red chilli powder – 1 Tsp
- Oil – 1 Tsp
- Ghee – 1Tsp
- Add oil and ghee to a pan and turn the flame ON.
- When the oil is hot add cinnamon,cloves and cardamom.
- Add garlic.
- Add ginger garlic paste paste and green chillies. Saute it for a minute. Don’t add too much of ginger garlic paste then it will taste like briyani.
- Add onions and a pinch of salt. Saute it.
- Add finely chopped tomatoes and close the pan for 2 minutes on a low flame.
- When tomatoes are nice and soft add peas, chilli powder, salt.
- Now add the rice to pan and add required water.
- When rice comes to top close the pan and cook it on low flame for 15 – 20 minutes.
