Mini Idli Sambar Recipe

Pudina Pulav

Ingredients 

  1. Cinnamon - 1 inch piece
  2. Green chilli - 6
  3. Onion - 1 large
  4. GingerGarlic Paste - 1 Tsp
  5. Pudina - 1/2 Cup
  6. Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
  7. Peas - 3/4 cup
  8. Basmathi Rice - 2 Cups
  9. Garam Masala - 1/2 Tsp
  10. Salt required
  11. Oil

  • Add little oil to a pan and saute cinnamon,green chilli,mint leaves,coriander leaves. Saute for until leaves shrink.
  • Now make fine paste.
  • Take another pan, add oil and ghee.
  • Add onions and a pinch of salt. toss it for a while.
  • Once the onions are half done add ginger garlic paste.
  • Add in green peas.
  • Now add the mint paste and mix well.
  • Add Garam masala and add required water.
  • When the water starts to boil add rice.
  • Add salt.
  • When the rice is half done, close the pan with a lid and cook on a medium low flame for 20 mins
  • Pudina pulav is ready to serve.

Fenugreek sprouts

  • Fenugreek sprout contains a lot of medicinal properties. It is rich in vitamins, proteins, iron, fibre.
  • Fenugreek can be consumed both as seed and sprout. 
  • Fenugreek help is purifying blood. Removes toxin from our body.

  • A study says person consuming fenugreek everyday has a low risk of heart attack.
  • It helps in controlling diabetes. Fenugreek sprout helps in balancing the sugar level in body.
  • Since it has a good amount of soluble fiber, it helps in weight loss.
  • It contain antioxidants which helps in reducing the ageing effect. Reducing wrinkles, pigmentation and acne.
  • Fenugreek seeds helps in fighting dandruff. Soak fenugreek seeds overnight in water and make a fine paste. Apply this to your hair and wash it off. 

  • Just add to salad and eat. You wont feel like eating sprouts. But it taste good even as sprout.

MUNG BEAN SPROUT


            Mung bean sprout contain vitamin c , k . It contain proteins, vitamins , minerals and fiber. It also contain iron. Consuming 1 serving of mung sprout for a day helps in reducing cardiovascular diseases.
      
Mung bean sprout is a good source of veg protein. If you are looking for a source of veg protein bean sprout is perfect choice.
           Mung bean sprout helps in weight loss. It contains a good amount of fiber and protein which helps you to feel fuller for a longer time and stops you from over eating.
            The protein content in mung bean sprout also helps in hair growth.
     
       
                   
             Adding sprouts to salads makes sprouts eating interesting.

             Making sprouts at home is more healthier and cheaper.
  • Soak mung dhal over night. On the next day morning drain the excess water and make it sit on the strainer for 15 minutes.
  • Transfer it to a air tight container and keep it aside.
  • Shake the box well in the evening. sprinkle some water if it is too dry.
  • Repeat the process on the next day.
  • Store in refrigerator once it is completely sprouted.
