SPICY CHICKEN

INGREDIENTS

  1. Chicken – 250 gm
  2. Onion – 1 Large
  3. Tomato –  1 Large
  4. Ginger garlic paste – 1 Tsp
  5. Green chillies – 1
  6. Chilli powder – 1 Tsp
  7. Coriander powder – 1 Tsp
  8. Garam Masala – 1/2 Tsp
  9. Pepper – 1/2 Tsp
  10. Cumin seeds – 1/2 Tsp
  11. Fennel seed – 1/2 Tsp
  12.  Cinnamon – 1 Piece
  13. Cardamom – 1
  14. Cloves – 2
  15. Coriander leaves
  16. Lime juice – 1 Tsp
  17. Salt to taste

  • Add 1 Tsp oil to a pan and turn the flame ON
  • Add cardamom, clove, cinnamon, pepper, cumin seeds, fennel seeds and 2 Tbsp onions.DSC_0912

  • Saute it well and make a paste by adding some water.
  • Clean the chicken and marinate with curd.
  • Take a pan add 2 Tbsp oil.
  • When the oil is hot add fennel powder/fennel 1/2 Tsp.
  • Add green chillies and ginger garlic paste.DSC_0914
  • Saute it for a minute and add fine chopped onions.

  • Add a pinch of salt and cook them until translucent.
  • Now add tomatoes.

  • Add chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt.Cook it on a medium flame.

  • Add marinated chicken and 1/2 cup of water.

  • Close the pan with a lid and cook it on a low flame for 10 minutes.

  • Once the chicken is cooked add few drops of lime juice .
  • Add coriander leaves and serve hot.
