RAW BANANA/PLANTAIN FRY
INGREDIENTS
- Raw banana/Plantain – 1
- Garlic – 3 cloves
- Fennel powder – 1/2Tsp
- Chilli Powder – 1 1/2 Tsp
- Coriander Powder – 1/2 Tsp
- Curry leaves
- Salt as required
- Vegetable oil – 2 Tbsp
- Coconut oil – 2 Tsp
- Peel the raw banana’s skin using a peeler or knife and soak it in water to avoid colour change.
- Now cut them into thin slices.
- Make a paste mixing chilli powder, fennel powder, coriander powder ,salt by adding water.
- Add the raw banana to this masala paste and mix well.
- Add 2 Tbsp of vegetable oil to a pan and switch on the flame. Once the oil is hot add raw bananas to the pan.
- Sprinkle some water and close the pan.
- It will take around 4 to 5 mins to cook.
- Turn to the other side and let it cook for a minute or two
- Meanwhile chop the garlic and curry leaves.
- Heat 1Tsp coconut oil in a pan and saute chopped garlic , curry leaves.
Saute it till garlic turns slightly golden in colour. Turn the flame off and add it to raw banana fry and mix it well.
