TOMATO THOKU

INGREDIENTS
  1. Mustard seeds – 1/2 Tsp
  2. Urad Dhal – 1/2 Tsp
  3. Onion – 1 large
  4. Tomato – 3
  5. Chilli powder – 1 Tbsp
  6. Salt to taste.
  7. Oil – 1 Tsp
  • Heat the pan, add oil.
  • When oil is hot add mustard seeds, urad dhal, finely chopped onions and tomatoes.
  • Now add chilli powder and salt.
  • Cover the pan with a lid or plate and cook it on a low flame for 10mins .
  • Once the raw flavour of tomato and chilli powder is gone add some curry leaves and turn the flame off.
