KADAI PANEER

INGREDIENTS

  1. Paneer – 500gm
  2. Onion – 2 Medium
  3. Tomato – 2 Medium
  4. Capsicum – 1/2 cup
  5. Ginger Garlic paste – 1 Tsp
  6. Turmeri
  7. Chilli Powder – 2 Tsp
  8. Coriander Powder – 1 Tsp
  9. Kasoori Methi leaves – 1 Tbsp
  10. Cinnamon – 1 Piece
  11. cardamom – 1
  12. Cloves – 3
  13. Salt
  14. Oil

DRY ROASTING INGREDIENT ( KADAI MASALA)

  1. Cinnamon – 1 Piece
  2. Cardamom – 2
  3. Coriander seeds – 1 Tbsp
  4. Cumin seeds – 1/2Tsp
  5. Pepper – 1 Tsp
  6. Red chilly – 2
  • Take a pan, heat oil and add cinnamon , cardamom, cloves.

  • Add finely chopped onions and a pich of salt. Saute it till the onions turn golden brown.

  • Add ginger garlic paste. Saute it for a minute or two.

  • Add tomatoes.

  • Add chilli powder,Coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt.

  • Mix well,add some water and cook it on a low flame.

  • Dry roast the listed ingredients.

  • Add the roasted ingredients to the blender and make a coarse powder.

  • Add capsicum, kasoori methi and kadai masala powder to onion gravy and bring it to a boil.

  • Add paneer. I added some more kadai masala at the end its optional.

  • Mix it and serve.
